Big Cat Cub Photos – National Geographic

These photographs of various cubs are used to raise awareness for the National Geographic Society’s Big Cats Initiative [link opens with a video of lions hunting zebras]. The initiative is attempting to preserve what big cats there are left in the world.

This series of photographs includes fifteen images of lion, leopard and tiger cubs. Some are depicted playing around and some are just caught in splendidly photogenic moments during their immaturity.

The NGS’s annual photography competition results are due to be unveiled during early December.
